Hey guys! I'm back from Tokyo after a week! Although it's tiring but the trip was great! Manage to survived the crowds in Tokyo Game Show. XDDD;; The crowds are crazy when my friends and I fight our way through to get to Square Enix booth! There're many restrictions to take photos and videoing in the event but I manage to catch some shots to show you guys. :3 Will first update the first 2 days when I was in Japan. There're so many photos I took, so I doubt I'll be able to upload and talk about them by tonight. XD;


Day 1 - Narita Airport to Sakura, Chiba Perfecture

My group arrived in Narita Airport around 5pm and the sky was already setting. Not long as we left the airport, it was already night. o.o It was only going 6pm when we stepped out of the airport to catch the coach to our hotel which is an hr ride. We were told during Autumn and Winter period, night are longer than daytime. Woah, we never get this kind of change of days in Singapore... Anyway, we reached the hotel and placed our luggages to have dinner in a family restuarant at the roadside since we're staying in a countryside, we see lots of vegetable farms, etc on the way. XD

Here's my first meal in Japan! I ordered Hambugar set since I was super hungry after 6hrs of flight. So I just ordered a huge portion of food to fill my empty tummy.

I was pretty happy the amount of portion is worth enough for the pricing. My mouth was watering when I took this photo. XD



I opened the caps and I saw the flash of holy lights shines at me. Such holy food! Itadakimasu! X3



After meal, we began to explore a nearby shopping centre to get food for TGS in the following day. As we know it will be crowded with people, we decided to get some bites to eat for lunch. We returned to the hotel and rest for the day. Day 1 ends.


Day 2 - Sakura, Chiba Perfecture to Makuhari Messe

I didn't really slept well and woked up in a shock when the sun shines right into my face. It was only 5:30am and the sun was already shining so bright... What the.. In Singapore, it will still be dark and the sun will rise around 6:45am to 7am. Hahaha. We prepared to have a quick breakfast at the hotel buffet resturant. Had a mix of Japanese and Western meal together, lol.

I had some scrambled eggs, bacons, fishcakes, miso soup, fish and bowl of rice. I ate to my fullest since I won't be able to have lunch on that day.



I spotted something that I had always wanted to try.. Natou!! The awful smelly beans! I put the sauce and started mixing together with the beans until it starts to get sticky.



The smell was totally alright to me but my friends beside could not stand it and said it stinks like someone's armpit, LOL. I tried my first bite and I decided to stay away from it. XDDDD;; The taste is somewhat weird... And it's kind of spicy too!

After breakfast, we head off to Makuhari Messe where Tokyo Game Show was located! The journey was more than an hr and we reached half an hr before the opening of the event. The place was strangely deserted when we got down the coach. I looked ahead and saw a bridge which linked to the building of the event.

Once you climbed up the stairs and walked down the bridge you see in the photo, that's where the nightmare begins...



Here's a photo I took showing how loooooooooooooooonngggg is the queue was outside. I was just only taking from the bridge and the queue was already freaking long! I wonder how early those people actually got up just to queue...



I got my entry ticket to enter the event, but sadly it's only one day. So the next following day, got to queue and buy the ticket again for the 2nd day. >_<



It was raining when we waited for the queue to move... Lots of people got to stand in the rain which kind of sucky when you don't have a umbrella. DX I got to share with my friends because I didn't bring any. We started to move with a inspection checkpoint along the way to go through before we start our long walk to the entrance of the event. We literally walked ONE ROUND the huge and long building before we reach the entrance! And the whole walk was 20mins! I was ranting to my friends when will the walk ever ends. XDDDD

And walked... There's the bridge I took from where the queue had stretched to. So just imagining how long was the walk from there to my current area I took in this photo.



And finally we reached the entrance! And out of the rain as well! Yay!



We entered and were welcomed with a huge crowd of people in front of us! Woot!



We began our exploring of the game companies and we saw Koei straight away since it's facing right in front of the entrance. We watched the new trailers release for Dynasty Warriors, etc. My friend got excited since she's a DW freak, lol.

Next, we decided to head out to find Square Enix to catch the tickets to watch the Close Mega Threatre. The whole place was so crowded, I took out the event map to locate our position. We eventually came past Capcom showcasing Phoenix Wright/Gyakuten Saiban with Miles Edgewoth as main lead in their big screen. I was pretty much excited about the new release since I do catch up with the game.



I found the section where they had the tried out of the gameplay. But the surrounding was so crazy and where the location of the section was located, it's was almost impossible to queue against the crazy crowds of people walking around there since SE and Capcom are next to each other. orz||| The queue was first come first serve basis if I'm not wrong...



I managed to take a sneak shot of the people playing the game inside since they don't allow photo taking and video taking. XD; The decoration inside was so cool! >_<



Finally! Square Enix!! I became thrilled as we approach. It was so damn crowded and I quickly dragged my friends to the gameplay section and Close Mega Threatre. But due to the human traffic, we have to slowdown our walking pace to reach our location. @_@

I was sooo distracted by many new stuffs displayed in SE. I found the gameplay section for KH:Mobile. The design of the characters are so cute! Sadly it's only for mobile phone. I manage to try the game during the end of the Day 1 event. Quite cute.. and kind of a brainless game. LOL. XDDDDD;



I came across something that took my eyes off... FF : Dissidia's bundles!!! Omg! I was controlling myself not to scream when I saw the can drinks with the characters placed on it! Plus the psp!!! Ugh! It's so nice! Many people were crowding the display section and I had to struggle in to catch a shot of it! Damn, I really want the set... ;_;

After taking those shots above, we make a turn to the right when we saw a huge group of people were taking photos at the wall. We were wondering what they were taking until we turned our head. I quickly placed my hand to cover my mouth when I looked at the wall.

It's was a huge image of all the Dissidia characters!!! They included the main characters and villians of FF4 and FF5 in! I quickly held my camera out and start to take photo of the image. I think my friends were freaked out when they saw how crazy I reacted over it... XDDD;;



My friends managed to pull me away since I just couldn't get my eyes off the wall, lol. We continued to find our destination and finally we reached! We saw the signs where we can get tickets to try the gameplays for Dissidia and KH:358/2 days. We managed to get 2:25pm gameplay ticket for KH:358/2days and 3:55pm for Dissidia. We had 4hrs of waiting time, so we decided to move out to other areas. Strangely we couldn't find the queue to get the tickets for the Close Mega Threatre section...! ;___; We saw the Closed Mega Threatre right in front of us. It was so crowded.. @_@ I looked at the list of trailers they were showing and I saw FFVII:Advent Children COMPLETE. I was like EH??? Is there a part 2 for the show?! We manage to get a brouchure and flipped through. Then we realized AC Complete contains new scenes which were not shown in the first show and it covers the loopholes. @__@;; Man, that freaked me out.



In the end, we couldn't find the ticket section for Closed Mega Threatre. I was kind of disappointed until we saw the signboard stating all tickets for the threatre are finished for the 1st day and it was only 2hrs after the event starts...! I grabbed my head and fell into the abyss. My friends were also disappointed about it. TT_TT We decided to try our luck for the 2nd day. So we decided to head off to other games section.

We walked through the 1st hall where I spotted a stage performance in Marverlous Entertainments where they were having Katekyo Hitman Reborn, seiyuus section. I saw the seiyuus of Tsuna, Reborn and Yamamoto! I was like "Holy! I saw the real Reborn seiyuu!" XDDDD;; Photos and video taking are restricted again but I manage to take a far shot for a friend who asks me to take a shot of Yamamoto's seiyuu. @_@;; Sorry, Dan. I can only take a lousy shot for you. XD;; If you can see three small heads on the stage, that's Tsuna's seiyuu on the left side, Yamamoto's seiyuu in the centre with his huge face on the big screen and Reborn's seiyuu on the right side. I'm not sure what they were talking about since I wasn't really paying attention.



Next! Hohohohoho~ The last hall where they sell the game companies products! I checked out Square Enix booth and omg... the queue was bloody long! I discussed with my friends whether they want to accompany me to buy stuffs because it will take hours to reach into the the centre of the booth to buy the items... XD;; In the end, we started to queue. It takes forever for the people to move foward... @_@



We took about 1 and a half hour just to queue and manage our way in to get the items we want. We looked at the item prices and they were priced so 'nice' and 'high'. Hahahaha... I was thinking hardly what items to get. I wanted to get Roxas's pendant but it's not going to be worth for a pendant which is the size of a pea for 5,200yen (US$50+, I think)... orz My friend bought Aerith's Holy Materia necklace for 12,000yen+ (US$120+?), a few of chocobo plushies, 3 set of FFVII, KH shirts, plus other SE accessories. Damn you, rich bastard... lol

In the end, I bought Oathkeeper and Oblivion keyblades, keyholders. XDDDD They're so shiny~ The booth also displayed figurines of FF, KH and anime series.

Kingdom Hearts figurines display section! Not really into figurines but they are so cool! X3 Finally thay had a Riku's figurine!

Errmm, I dunno what display section is this, but I do know there're lots of armor characters, yeah! XD;


Lenneth from Valkyrie Profile looks awesome! I'm a crazy fan of VP~ Can't wait for VP new release in NDS! XD Is it me or Lenneth is exposing her legs more and more in the new trailer and figurine...Damn you fan service.

After that, we decided to head back to the 1st hall for the gameplay! We hurried back since we had wasted a lot of time to queue for SE items. We found the 2:25pm gameplay section for KH:358/2days and started to queue.

The queue was not that long and we waited until we enter. Ahead you can see the signboard where the next time slot was stated to play KH:358/2days. On the right, behind those black fence where all the gameplay areas were.


I was getting pretty excited while waiting because I'm going to see Roxas in game mode together with Axel!!! XDDDD No photo taking and video taking were allowed so I can only type what I had experienced. When we entered, we were told to standby while the previous time slot group were still playing. The staffs starts to pass us instruction card to explain how to play the game.

The instruction stated the game demo that Roxas was ordered to go for a mission and the player can choose 3 different partners to go with into 3 different worlds to fight the Heartless bosses. I only remembered the 1st option which is Roxas go together with Axel to Twilight Town, 2nd and 3rd options are either with Xigbar or Saix. XDDD;; Obviously I chose Roxas to go with Axel, LOL. We were stationed in front of the NDS and wore the headphone. We were given 5 to 10mins to play the game.

After the player chose the partner whom want Roxas to go with, a scene starts with a black dimension hole appear outside Twilight Train Station. Axel and Roxas walked out and looked around the area. Axel told Roxas they're going to track down the Heartless boss that's roaming around in the town. Roxas kept quiet all the way as Axel continues his speech. After the scene, the player can start to control Roxas. The player will control Roxas to run towards a gate that leads to the underground tunnel in Twilight Town. Inside the tunnel was a maze where the player will have to find the exit. The player will have to fight with sudden appearing Heartless and head out to the exit to fight the boss, Guard Armor (The purple armor boss that Sora fights in Traverse Town). The fight was pretty easy with Axel usually the one doing the most damage on the boss. After the end of the fight, the player will be able to choose a scene whom he/she likes between the two characters. For Axel and Roxas scene, it's the scene where they eat sea-salt ice cream and had their lovey dovey conversation on top of Twilight Tower, and the game ends there.

Regarding the ending, it was my friend who told me about it since she manage to complete the mission. I failed to complete thanks to the maze where I wasted a lot of time in it. orz|||| So the gameplay's time ended while I was still fighting the boss! Ugh!! I'm a idiot!! orz;; After we finished the gameplay, we decided to take a break and rested beside SE Mega Closed Threater and gameplay section to wait for our next gameplay at 3:55pm.

We didn't see KH:Birth By Sleep gameplay ticket section earlier when we gotten Dissidia and KH:358/2days tickets... The time slot somehow clashed with KH:358/2days and it was kind of too late to get other timeslots. So we decided to give up on Birth By Sleep... ~_~;; After we had our quick bites, we got ready to queue for the next gameplay, FF : Dissidia! While we waited to enter, I chatted with my friends regarding our next destination we planning to go until the staffs starts to order us to move into another area to queue behind the black fence to standby.

That was time where I had a shock of my life when we walked into a dark room when suddenly I saw a big screen showed right in front of us with a black net dividing the sections. It turned out to be the Closed Mega Threater behind the black net and they were showing Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer right before our eyes once we entered!!! I was controlling my excitment as I watched! The Prince was wearing his black suit to meet the blonde hair girl who dressed a white gown. He approaches her and heard her talking something about life and death at a huge protrait in front of her. The girl turned to face him and smiled. (KYA!!!!!) Prince and the girl walked side by side as they talked. She walked ahead with her hands held behind her back resuming the conversation she had earlier and turned her head to look at the prince. The scene cuts to the meeting hall where all the mafia looking bosses gathers. Scene cuts again, where a car drove down the desert land and made a stop with Prince stepped out with Mr. Shotgun and looking out to the landscape. Scene cut to Mr. Shotgun grabbed Prince around his neck with Prince struggling underneath him. Mr. Shotgun suddenly got pulled away and was grabbed around the neck by Mr. Scar. He struggled in pain as Mr. Scar rubbed his knuckles against Mr. Shotgun's head. Scene cuts back to the meeting hall, showing a close up of the mafia leader(?) Scene cuts to a person in white hood standing in front of the throne, trying to steal the crystal. Prince appeared in time and cast his weapons. Person in white hood smirked and faced Prince. Person in white hood cast magic spells with symbols appearing around him. Prince cast out his other weapons as the two were ready to showdown. Scene cuts to Prince standing at the bridge looking at the city landscape with his three bodyguards behind him. He turned to walk away with his bodyguard follows in slow motion (This part is super cool!!! >_< ). Last scene cuts to blonde hair girl standing alone back faced in a dark street in the city. Prince came in scene, looking worried and anxious. He calls out to her with a cut scene showed her turning to look at him. She held her hand out with a weapon appearing in her hand with a huge symbol appearing behind her. Prince drew his weapon as well as the both of them are about to begin their fight.

Some of the scenes I typed might not be 100% correct. I just described it from the memories I had when I watch. I do find the blonde hair girl really assembles Aeris/Aerith a lot. The way she act, the way she moves, the way she smiles... it's like a replica of her. >__< That's my personal opinion, so dun get woke up. XD Anyway, I was so thrilled over the whole trailer that I wasn't paying much attention to the queue for the Dissidia gameplay. XDDDD;; I was so happy that I'm able to see the trailer for FFvXIII. After that, we moved in to try out the gameplay. The instruction given that the player is allowed to choose a character out of 6 characters. The 6 characters were avaliable were Warrior of Light(FF1), Onion Knight(FF3), Squall(FF8), Zidane(FF9), Tidus(FF10) and Cloud of Darkness(FF4, villian). I chose Squall as the character to fight. There are 4 stages to fight against. In each battle, a instruction menu appear in each scene to instruct the player different buttons to unleash the character battle skills. 1st battle, Squall vs Firion. 2nd battle, Squall vs Garland?(I can't remember for this stage, sorry >_<; ) 3rd battle, Squall vs Onion Knight. Final battle, Squall vs Ultimecia. Ultimecia is a pain in an ass to fight since she likes to teleport around. =_=;; The player has to control Squall to fly around, jumps around, glide around. There are no scenes in this demo, so the player will straight away enter into battle mode. I seriously find this game is awesome. This is a must buy game! Must get! @___@;;; The fighting were so damn cool! Especially the limit breaks and summoning! The game will be releasing this Dec 18th for psp! All of you must get! DX

I will resume my trips for other days next time soon! I realized I had typed this entry for more than 3hrs.. XD;;; I really need sleep... Night!
